Heather Threadgill, Owner and Founder of Coeur d’Alene’s very own Bare Culture Kombucha could be described as many things, including a Pioneer of Kombucha in Idaho. When on vacation in Hawaii many moons ago, Heather and her husband Joe had some amazing Kombucha and fell in love with it. When they returned home Heather began brewing Kombucha in the kitchen and testing different recipes on her family and friends. She enjoyed it so much they eventually began brewing commercially in 2013 and she removed herself from her day job of being a teacher to an entrepreneur. Since then the team at Bare Culture Kombucha has managed to scale distribution to many major grocery stores and restaurants all over Idaho, Washington, Oregon, and Montana.
Heather shares her story, and much more in Episode 23 of Coeur d’Alene Advice Givers.
