Enjoy this episode: In episode 35 of Coeur d’Alene Advice Givers Karen Ashenbrenner, Executive Director of IDFY (Idaho Drug Free Youth) sat down with Cole and talked about the services the non-profit provides for our youth. Being the only non-profit in the state for drug prevention IDFY offers six different programs within schools and outside of schools that can be intertwined into teaching our kids to make healthy choices.
IDFY is big believers in second chances, they realize that no human is perfect, and it’s critical to learn from mistake and grow from them. As Karen said “As we get older and keep having birthdays we don’t stop making mistakes, we just hope that we learn from the mistakes so they become smaller..”
